| Aims and Scope |
The goal of this workshop is to bring together researchers and practitioners working in Europe and abroad
developing and applying fuzzy techniques in preference modelling and decision making. The workshop is intended to establish
the state of the art in the field and to encourage cooperation among the participants.
The workshop will be rather informal, with an open and friendly spirit
and a flexible schedule. The program schedule will consist of 3 working days and a half day
excursion to the famous Alhambra. Each half day will start with an invited lecture followed by
a number of regular contributions. Ample time for discussions will be provided and no
parallel sessions will be scheduled. The number of participants envisaged is between
30 and 40. |

| Registration Information |
In order to register in the workshop you must fill out the
registration form, and follow the instruction given in it. | ||
| Accommodation Information |
We have reserved an limited number of rooms in three
hotels with different prices. You can find them in the
accommodation form,. Then, in order to organize the accommodation process the designed procedure is as follows: 1. Look at the hotel that you want. 2. Send me an e-mail (viedma@decsai.ugr.es) with the hotel name, the number of double rooms and simple rooms that you need, the arrival date and the departure date. 3. I shall confirm you the availability of your desired rooms via mail. 4. Confirmed the availability, then you can reserve the rooms filling out the accommodation form and following the instructions given in it. | ||

A limited number of participants from Central and Eastern Europe or Ph.D. students from all over Europe can apply
for EURO support covering (partial) travel and accomodation. Interested persons should contact one of the EUROFUSE

| Structure of the conference | Invited
presentations Six guest speakers, U. Bodenhofer, H. Bustince, B. De Baets & J. Fodor, R. Marques Pereira, G. Pasi, and R.R. Yager, will deliver a 45 min talk covering a broad variety of interests. Contributed papers Contributed papers will be presented in plenary sessions (25 minutes for each paper, 5 minutes for discussion). |

| Paper submission |
Extended abstracts should be prepared in the usual LATEX two-column style; the length should be aimed at 4 or 6 pages. The instructions are described in the following
Postscript example file, generated from the tex file
eurofuse2001.tex
and using the document class
eurofuse2001.cls. There are also a word format
eurofuse2001.doc.
They should be submitted, before
December 20, 2000 to the address: herrera@decsai.ugr.es Authors willing to submit a full paper for a special issue of a journal, yet to be determined, are requested to submit up to 20 pages before June 30, 2001. Details will be announced later. |

| Other information | Upon registration or paper
submission, the participants will receive information
about payment and accommodation. It is our intention to lodge the interested participants
in a nice building belonging to the University of Granada at an affordable price.
